It started as an AWP. I replaced the barrel with a 16 inch AWS barrel, and then had SoundTech make a custom AWS-style can for it. It is amazing.

It is there to deflect heat mirage comming from the barrel and silencer from distorting the view through the optics.

What scope is that on the Savage?

Not the best pic, but a Pilot on an AR is a lot of fun (with .22lr adaptor of course).

Correct, the cover over the suppressor body is a project we are working on right now and the strap over the barrel is a Sako factory accessory,

The Choat folding stock was cut down and reshaped to fit the barrel. The cost was $750, but it is worth every penny. Mike Klos manufactoring did all the work. This is one great piece and is very quiet with the AAC Pilot. She makes a very handy back pack rifle.
