This was a week for threaded barrels. Got the barrel and slide of my Mauser HSC .32 back from Josh Rowe of Allegheny Arms, and my drop-in extended, threaded Hi-Power barrel from BHP Spring Solutions for my Springfield SA-35. The HSC sports a polished AAC Phantom I built 20 or so years ago, and the Illusion 9 is on the SA-35. The sights on the SA-35 clear the Illusion, by the way.  SilentMike Dead Air AAC 1998-2018 |

OK, that's the coolest thing I've seen all weekend. Love how you made the silencer the same diameter as the receiver for that sleek look. Can't believe B&T didn't do that in the first place. |

A lighter recoil spring only helps slightly. i think the longer dwell time/lockup of a P22x hurts it in this case and it may very well work fine with other pistols. Unfortunately this is the only threaded barrel pistol i have to test with so its performance on other hosts is still up in the air. I know Nick told me he got it to run even on a stock glock 17 which isnt really known to be a suppressor friendly gun, so i really think its a p22x specific issue. I will end up buying a piston/booster assembly for it just because i want it to run 100% reliably. Id say your Canine at half the length and weight has a much better chance at working. |

SS MR920 got replaced with a G19.5 MOS. And my long awaited Trijicon RMR HD got shipped today!!! Still plan to run this with the Obsidian 9 in short config for HD use. Also still no sure I'll run the Griffin EZ-LOK system. It's certainly nice but for what I intend this gun to do may not be truly needed. The can is dedicated to this gun (but may try it on my G48 MOS just because..)
