Looking for actual velocities people are getting out of the Stribog 10mm. Can’t find any anywhere. I’m trying to decide between the Ruger LC and the Stribog. I’m curious to see how the velocities out of the Stribog 8” compare to the Ruger 16”. Please do not post a link to the velocity by the inch site - looking for actual chronograph numbers. Thx! BTW: What am I using it for? Plinking fun, maybe SD. I will SBR the Stribog of I get decide on that. |

I just checked my notes and I don’t have any 10mm data for my Stribog just my Glock 20. Mine is suppressed so mostly what I have loaded is 220gr subsonic rounds. If I can get out to the range soon I’ll test some 165gr and 180gr stuff. These are all handloads so they are full power that you might not be able achieve with out of the box stuff. In my Glock I get 1340fps with its 4.6” barrel I would guess my Stribog would maybe add another 100fps. Zero idea what a 16” barrel would add. |

First of all, I do not have a Stribog or Ruger 10mm. My 10mm has a 16” Barrel, and is basically a collection of parts. With my 16” barrel I’m getting right at 1600”fps with my reloads. 180gr JHP bullets and AA#9 powder, using book loads. The same load gives me about 1300fps out of my 1911 with 5” barrel. With 150gr bullets, it’s about 1700fps. So, while it doesn’t exactly answer your question, it will give you a ballpark idea. |
