I honestly didn't hear any bad stories about them and I know someone that owns one and he loves it, but low round count. Gun store employees are firearms salesmen - Kuna (not in stock) sucks, but this KelTec in the case is the top of the line. |

The .40 models show up in a lot of the big online stores like Buds and the other drop-shippers. I mean I have notifications setup for all the .40 guns for coming back in stock across the internet. So far, nothing has come back in stock and I am very eager for a .40 version.I F5 the Springfield store daily too on the Kuna mag page watching for the .40 mag to appear there too. That’ll probably be an early indicator they’ve arrived as the 9mm mag showed up very early. |

The thing is so handy with the brace and a mag well grip that it may be the ONLY SBR project gun I’ve done where the base gun was perfectly usable without any compromises beforehand. Is that not a bolt release in the same spot as the factory lower? I am interested in the Nexus lower but the lack of a bolt release would change that. I'm also curious to see what Lingle or A3 will come out with. |

I would not be surprised if SA ended up having the best price though. |

I would not be surprised if SA ended up having the best price though. I noticed a listing for 10 round mags. Last night I saw a photo of a Kuna with a 10 round mag. I've been waiting for mags to come back in stock since I got my kuna and would love to get a pair of 10 rounders for range use. |

| And the delayed blowback system isn’t identical to the Stribog either. It’s similar with a forward block and a cross roller between the block and the bolt, but there are some differences. On the Stribog, the “roller” is just a pin. The Kuna uses an actual roller the rotates around the pin. Also, the Kuna has a spring between the bolt and block. |

I ended up switching back to the triangle stock. The Magpul Zhukov stock was a bit bulky. Not pictured but I am running it with a Primary Arms MD20 micro red dot. Also with a Spectre 9 can with fixed barrel adapter. I will need to snap some more pics. Attached File Attached File |

|
I like it - it is lightweight, strong, and comfortable. I have an aluminum version of a triangle stock, and never liked it - polymer is much better size to weight and texture. The attachment mechanism is a little complex, however it is very solid once attached. Price is good too at $110. https://hagadefense.com/triangle-stock/ |

Originally Posted By right_rudder: This guy has had both of his mags crack. May Explain why mags are so scarce Huh. All 6 of mine seem great and extremely sturdy. Haven't heard of anyone else reporting this. Bad batch? Chemically altered (wrong cleaner applied and ruined the plastic)? Sabotage for clicks? (I admit I don't know this guy at all ... no idea if he is legit) Seems odd that literally NO ONE else has reported this, and then this guy has BOTH of his mags fail in the exact same way? Hmmmmm... I need more than 1 YouTuber's word before I get all "concerned", but for those who have been looking for a reason to hate the Kuna, this is their boat! |

Magpul UCS was delivered this evening. Overall it is well-made and locks up solid. Has metal hinge and other hardware, including the pic rail jaws. Easy to fold and extend/contract. Comes with two different height check rests. It feels good on the Kuna, and folds at a downward angle so should allow for you to shoot folded if you flip the hinge to have the stock fold on the ejection window side. Pics: As comes in package. Attached File Installed for sight picture with flip up iron sights. Attached File Folded. Attached File Installed with sight picture for my red dot (moved it up one slot on the pic rail.) Would like to see where the buttstock is in relation to the trigger and the plausibility of firing the weapon with the stock collapsed and folded -- almost looks like it might interfere with your ability to grip the pistolgrip? Thanks for the helpful pics so far -- looks pretty good! |

Do you find you can still easily get a firing grip in that configuration? Oops... sorry for the dupe... I didn't see your follow-up message before I posted this question Good to know about the weight... was wondering about that too. |

Combine that with the manufacturer showing them out of stock for months (since introduction) it lends credibility to the conspiracy theory that there's a potential issue with the magazines. and I'm not on the hating Kuna train. Even the beloved CZ Scorpion mags went through some bad batches with cracked feed lips (got them sorted, of course) Standing by for more evidence. No doubt the "metoo" tubers will be out in full force if there is any real blood in the water.

Are there a number of people experiencing the cracks in the mag bodies, or is it one guy on Youtube who posted about it and that story is now spreading like wildfire? (the way these things usually do...) Sven Manticore Arms |
