for those that do not know, SA has supplied dealers with the 9mm Kuna 6” pistol (Strike side fold brace) for a release in mid April.  The thing looks shit hot. No info on a 16” version at this time.
Well built and has 2 mags.  Nice trigger.  Roller delay blowback.  Ready to pick up one as soon as the date hits.

These have different side fold braces…not Ugg stocks.  Nice rig. The ones I saw have a muzzle comp, not a tri lug.

Looking forward to these being released.

I am not too keen on the strike industries brace.   Hoping that enough people put pressure on Springfield Armory to make the factory stock available for purchase.

Edit:
No affiliation, but a quick search shows what appears to be the form they will be sold in.

I’ve already seen them being sold. Local dealer here had 3 on Tuesday. They were priced a bit above retail. All sold yesterday.

I almost bought one. But want to wait for reviews.

Weird launch: they embargo'd it, and simultaneously shipped them to dealers. Who aren't keeping them secret.  :D
There's twitter video of one for rent at a Colorado indoor range, one already sold in Texas, another shop with a "look what we got" Instagram vid, etc.

I got to play with the SMG version while I was in Germany last month, I like that stock. The Strike brace is fine too: I like it better than the SB, and you can swap out the stabilizer for a "stock" buttpad without having to buy a whole new folding arm. Springfield shipped one of the braced versions last week, but I haven't gotten a chance to shoot it yet.

One of my big hangups is the mags
While cheap, it's still a new mag to stockpile

I emailed Lingle asking if they were planning on testing to see if possible to make new lower for scorpion mags

Reply was they think it'll work with scorpion mags but need to get one in hand for testing

Not having a tri-lug sucks.

It also looks like they change the mlok slot on the front from what was shown at the IWA show.  Which now gives 2 mlok slots.

Hoping they sell the stock as an accessory, but won't hold my breath.

Thanks for posting pics. We can just throw a tri lug on the front but that rail in the back is seriously ugly. It really breaks up the look when it doesn't have the original stock. It looks like there's 2 push pins back there. I'm hoping they make a US version of that original stock that we can swap in when we sbr it.

MSRP: 1,149.99 USD

Pretty much the only thing I can say as of right now is that the 1913 backplate is polymer, I can't verify the thread pitch for the compensator or what flavor of Loctite they used, and I don't see any possibility of roller lock as you are required to manipulate them to reinsert the BCG.

I don't have a way to give anyone here accurate measurements but my ballpark is probably in the 3-4lb range 'two stage' feel. Honestly not bad at all, to where I can say *we* could feel alright without aftermarket for awhile. Also if someone from Springfield is lurking can you email me a manual because that would be awesome (to also include in the box). The magazines are thick even for a 9mm and the inline sights are virtually unusable with the strike brace.

Man, I knew something was off when I first saw the pictures. All the shot show stuff showed the tri-lug, but when I saw it with that goofy compensator it just felt off.

That’s a ridiculous change.

Thanks for sharing these photos!

I was expecting a near-replica of a Stribog, based on some external observations of the locking mechanism.  However, it appears there are a lot of differences.  The FCG is notably different, with trigger spring similar to an MP5(?).  The bolt geometry is close, but not the same as a Stribog.  As well, the locking lug is much bigger than a 'bog.  From what I can see, this is not a licensed copy of the Grand Power design.  Actually... it looks reverse-engineered.

[#38]
Looking at that bolt design I'll just stick with my Stribog as this isn't offering anything unique. I like 9mm PCCs but don't see the point on this one. Especially at the price point.

Price isn't crazy. Question is what recoil impulse is like. Having looked at the mass of the bolt, I don't have my hopes very high. But at 1100 if it recoiled like an MP5, yet with AR controls, and cheap mags, they would sell a ton. I think "roller delay" may just be marketing nonsense on these though (given what appears to be the reciprocating mass). But it will take some reviews for this to be made clear.

I have seen people claiming $850 for the pistol without the brace.

The internals appear to have excellent machining and the roller delay looks a little more robust than the Grand Power Stribog A3.

I am willing to bet that the mags are likely better than Grand Power as well.

This!

The HS Produkt's excuse is the need to make a gun that can fire 10mm, which uses own magazines. That makes no sense at all. I see no obstacle to using their own mag in 10mm and Scorpion mag in 9mm. The mag release is 100% the "new" Scorpion mag, and that was on the market for more than a year already.

This one has an odd-looking OOB safety lever, which is compatible with ATF's idiotic regulations for U.S. civilians. Does Stribog has anything like it?

The Scorpion relied on auto sear in order to make the gun safe. When they removed it for U.S. civilian market, they made a kaboom machine. But I don't know if that applies to Stribog.

I can drop the hammer on a Stribog that is forced out of battery, so no.

Is that what that weird thing is between the magwell FCG?
