Since the new (No NFA Wait) changes? How exactly did it go? I know I got 3 emails from Silencershop last night after midnight poking me to order one. I had a 9mm Can in my cart, but could not pull the trigger. 1. I'm not 100% trusting that there won't be some bumps and possible legal repercussions eith these changes. 2. I didn't have the cash and I've been making a huge push to get out of credit debit. This would have sent me the other way, so I didn't go through with it. I know, I have the terminal poors.

I ordered another SiCo can. Needed something for my 6mm ARC build since my old Specwar 762 is so giant. The response I got from Silencershop last night was “if this goes through then theoretically the dealer would call you once they receive it to complete a 4473 for pick up instead of the ATF wait times.” Which kind of sucks, I’m 5 minutes away from their fancy showroom in Leander but they won’t sell direct. It sounds like it’s more on the dealer than anything else |

Sadly, I already have a can for all my boomsticks and sidearms. For some of them I waited almost a year for the tax stamp. Glad this is finally happening though, if it really is. Will buyers still have to complete a 4473 in their state, for a suppressor made in that state? |

I ordered one from Silencer Shop this morning that I have been wanting for a long time. I hope it works out like its supposed to, but if it doesn't, I wanted it anyway and I'll just do a form 4 like I always have. I'm in MO and my dealer is a preferred Silencer Shop dealer, so I hope its just a 4473 when it comes in. |

I picked up 3 rifle cans from SS that I’ve been wanting to pick up. CAT Noah 718 and 2x Infinity 556Ks. All being transferred through a SS “Powered By” dealer. I figure most of the details will be sorted out and hopefully guidance released by the time they make it to my dealer. If not and they have to go on a F4, oh well, at least I picked up the stuff I was looking at before the glut in the suppressor market hits whenever this finally does work itself out and everyone and their brother decides to clear out inventory nationwide. |

I am optimistic but cautious. I think the best bet is to call your local FFL before ordering anything, and keeping good records of purchase receipts with dates, the ruling that started this, etc in case any local agency is uninformed. I have a local FFL on IG already saying come buy suppressors already |

I would be interested to know which local dealer you went through for pickup and if they honored the 4473 for pickup. Feel free to PM me. Thanks! |

I was going to order a few cans from Griffin but, would like to see how they are going to get handled. |

Everything is too new and the industry is scrambling. I am a member of two of the named plaintiff organizations covered by the injunction and I ordered a new can from Silencer Shop this morning, but their own dealer here is still saying they still want a Form 4. It’s Silencer Shop’s problem to solve as I assume the suppressor has to transfer first to the dealer. My need is not urgent - I may just let it sit with them until it can transfer on a 4473. If a Form 4 is eventually required, it won’t be the end of the World

| I did and this morning from SS. Looks like everything assigned ready to go. SS email even says not an NFA item, order listed as completed. Still, ffl just told me (they’re a powered by SS dealer) would not do the transfer until ATF says ok. I get it, but it’s also bs that ATF is looked at as making the law, won’t follow a judge’s ruling until atf man says it’s ok. We’ll see once the orders arrive |

I was up late, my small local ffl posted he was going to let things thru with a 4473. A few minutes after midnight I lit my credit card on fire with a big Silencer Shop order. We'll see how backed up SS is shipping things out. The big shops in town are all "waiting for guidance." |

TX) and they're also continuing to use the standard Form 4 process. |

I expect most dealers will be hesitant until there's some kind of official statement that ATF will not go after dealers or transferees who are covered as protected plaintiffs by membership/association. Just too much at stake. And then there are retard states like mine with their own laws that make the approved form 1/4/5 or SOT status an affirmative defense for something which is otherwise a felony to possess, so until there is some other flavor of federal permission slip, the standard NFA process must be followed here and in about a dozen other states IIRC. |

Sucks for those states. As strange as it is, Montana is one of the most 2a friendly states but the currently law is similar to CO so we still need a form 4 for now. I actually have some hope that Montana MIGHT eventually update their law to do away with form 4. But most states I would have absolutely no hope of that ever happening. |

The three FFL that I've asked have all said it's business as usual for them, still need a F4. I really want to believe. |

Understandable that some shops are hesitant. Others are running out of stock |

It's been expensive. Ordered a Trash Panda, then went back and ordered a Velos LBP 556. Then ordered a couple different Cherry Bomb compensators so I can attach to a few rifles. Then sent in sbr efile for my SP5, then ordered a folding stock for it. If they had an Omega9K in stock, it would be ordered as well. |

From plaintiff PSA's website: "This protection is not nationwide, and it may not be permanent. The Court declined to issue a universal injunction. Protection reaches PSA and PSA's customers — not the general public, and not customers of all other retailers. The government also may still appeal. An appellate court could pause or reverse this ruling. What would happen to an unregistered suppressor you already purchased if that occurs is an unresolved question that no court has answered. You should assume that risk before you buy." What's the reward to take on the risk versus a $0 stamp and waiting a few days for approval? And is the ATF suspiciously quiet now just to bust up the party at its peak? |
