I'm curious if I replace the complete slide assemblies on each frame if there will be any damage shooting them They match up well. Kind of making a 5903 SSV... Any factual links or information would be greatly appreciated. V OUT |

Its been several years since I looked into swapping a 6906 top end onto a 5906 frame - IIRC I was looking to get the additional grip and the shorter slide... but for some reason (IDR), it didn't work out with the ones I had... seems I recall that there were early and late versions of one of the series (ID'd by square trigger guard vs round trigger guard) and the barrel timing geometry and mine weren't compatible. good luck trying it, the contrast would look good. |
