I'm looking for a safe/RSC I can put near my entryway for daily use stuff, doesn't need to be high end (nothing too valuable in it), but would like it to be bolted down, crackhead resistant and at least a little fire resistant. Max width 22.5" so it'll fit in the coat closet. The annoyance is that I religiously won't use factory supplied locks and would like to swap for an S&G mechanical of some kind myself. I have done this before but only for safes built for S&G's. What are the best options for this? |

Came across some stuff saying the TSC ones aren't standard footprint. Maybe I'll just buy one with an S&G, swap the lock and eBay the one it came with. |
| Hit up your local safe installer. I have one near me that always has smaller used safes in stock. I have picked up a couple that I use for pistols and suppressors. They are about 150 pounds, with half the weight in the door so they are are easy to separate, move, install, and the drop the door back on. |
