Does anybody know how Silencerco intends to fill all the orders for the free promotional suppressors we all just ordered? I know the promotion info said it may take a few months before they arrive at our dealers.
Is Silencerco making all of these once the promotion ends or do they have a bunch sitting in their warehouse already that will start shipping once the paperwork is done? Are some of these free cans going to start shipping soon or will we really not see them for 4 months? Anybody know? Just more of a curiosity than anything else. Would be interesting to know how many of each can got picked as well but I doubt Silencerco will ever release those numbers. |
| damn good question. i wish they would get after it and at least assign serial numbers so we can get the paperwork started. waiting four months for the suppressor to be delivered just to then have to wait another 6-9 months for the stamp really takes the excitement out of the promotion. The paper work I submitted for the Hybrid 46 I ordered as the primary purchase part of the promotion is still noted as "awaiting review" and that's been over 2 weeks now. |

I suspect they ramped up production before hand and will do the rest afterwards. Would explain why they say it may take up to 4 months for delivery. They didn't mention a ramp up, but did say at some point they'd have to make the ones being claimed at registration. But that it would add 4 weeks to the process. The backlog of paperwork and other admin duties is as big of an issue as making them. I'm not surprised to see the report of free ones already showing up. I'm hoping to see mine any day now. |

Do I need to notify my dealer that I might have one show up in the next 4 months? I picked my 2nd best dealer I use because they were already on the SilencerCo website. |

Yes. SiCo said they include paperwork to indicate who it was for, but giving the dealer a heads-up is rarely a bad idea. Quoted:

I wish SilencerCo would just answer the phone, return my multiple calls with multiple messages left, or return any one of my emails. It has been over week now. I will try again tomorrow i guess.
I purchased a Hybrid on the 26th of June, but my FFL still doesn't itemize receipts. So the receipt you get basically shows you ordered 1 item for $9XX.XX, the date, time, tax, total etc.. I included an invoice with the cash register receipt in my submission and the serial # and I just want to know if they are going to honor this or not, or do I have to get some other type of proof that I bought it. They say all submissions must be by the 30th of July, so with work I am kind of running out of time if I need to drive back to my FFL an hour away for more info to send them. |

I might try to call in soon, and make sure I don’t have to hound the companies to compile the info they want exactly how they want it, before the 30th so I qualify as well. |

I haven't had any luck contacting them via phone or email, however I have some good news. A few minutes ago I received an email from Silencershop that my other suppressor I ordered (that was backordered during the promo) has a serial number now.
So, in theory, once they fix their broken online registration form which says any and all serial numbers entered are "not in the database", I should be able to register both before the 30th deadline. My guess is a lot of you guys will be given serial numbers today or this week, since I ordered towards the end of the promo period. These are my first suppressors, so I'm excited. I ordered a Saker 762 and Salvo 12. Need to decide what to get for the 'free' ones now. |

I;ve got one I ordered from silencershop before the deadline that got a serial assigned a day later, and silencerco's website is still listing it as unrecognized over a week later. Ex: octane serial number is OCT9-1234 |

I didn't have any issues with the website or my receipt around early july.
I submitted it on a Sunday and they sent me a confirmation email (automated) in minutes, and then an accepted email a few days later. I'm going to wait a few months before I bother checking up on it. They have my name and my FFL. I'm sure they'll get to me when my ticket is up. |

Purchased an Omega 45 on 6/14 at Capitol Armory. Live in the area so just went there and did an individual transfer. Received a registration confirmation Email from SilencerCo on 6/20, so, guess I got in before they really got totally overwhelmed! Consumer must make qualifying purchase between JUNE 15, 2018 – JULY 15, 2018 in order to qualify for the free suppressor. Did they accept yours from 6/14? Or did you buy it on/after the 15th? |

Did they extend the promotion till July 30th?? Or did u have to buy by July 20 and register for the free suppressor by July 30th?? |
|
Seperate question:
On the Silencerco registration page, the boxes below the Proof Of Purchase Upload, is that where we enter the free suppressor name and information? If yes, where do we get the Product Total Value? ETA: Nevermind. I see everything pops up when the first box is filled in. Thanks |
| Anybody besides CA received some of the free cans? I filed mine on day one (6/15) and called them a couple days later to ask a question. Was told the first ones would be quick, but eventually they'd have to start making cans to fulfill the orders. We're 2+ months later and no sign of mine. I know it said "up to 4 months", but figured I'd have it by now. |

I haven't even received an email confirmation |

No confirmation email for me yet :/ Why did they ask what 22 you wanted? I thought you had to state what can you wanted while registering? Quoted:

i received a second confirmation email today that appears to be "resetting" their production clock to be a minimum of 4 months from now. me thinks this is going to be a disaster that will cost them a lot of customers. Hating Ruger long after Bill is dead and policies have changed Battered women coming back to manufactures after every blunder |

Quoted: I got the same seemingly automated second email also, and I was in in mid June. Called them and spoke to a very nice lady, she assured me I was in the first 500 and they are working on this. Looks like thet just got way more than they expected. |
|
Got a confirmation email today stating that my REGISTRATION was complete, and they would let me know if they needed more information.
Gave me the impression that im "confirmed" to be in the system, but that they must still "review and approve" the free suppressor. It's progress.

| yeah, I am starting to believe this "promotion" was a big fucking scam. I've gotten the emails confirming registrations and all but WTF? Wheres the serial number so I can start the damn process of filing for the stamp?? Mine has been almost 10 weeks and still no serial number. I dont need the actual can but it would be nice to start the process knowing if SilencerCo doesnt issue a serial number before shipping the can and takes 4 months to deliver the actual product to my FFL, then I still have another 7-8 months to wait on the stamp that pretty much blows. I dont see any reason why they cant assign a SN and allow the purchaser to start the clock while they do the actual production and shipping. Well, I guess I can see one reason and explanation: terrible organization and poor work flow. You can get an automobile custom ordered and get a VIN assigned quickly, and the car will take how ever long to actually be produced. This is the same thing. This whole mess has soured me on SilencerCo altogether. These 2 will be my only products from them, likely forever. Their handling of this has been piss poor. To underestimate demand or response to the promotion that they offered is not a valid excuse. |

This proves no good deed goes unpunished. SilCo gave the terms of the promo up front. It's not wise to invest heavily in giving stuff away. I'm glad they did this promo. |
