| Apologies in advance, but I've had less-than-stellar luck with USPS insurance claims and have yet to file a UPS claim. If I ship via UPS, will they insure a suppressor if it's going straight to the manufacturer? Can I ship via Pirate Ship, or is it better to get a label directly via UPS to declare the item and schedule a pickup? |

UPS does not ship from non-licensees. https://www.ups.com/us/en/support/shipping-support/shipping-special-care-regulated-items/prohibited-items/firearms UPS accepts packages containing Firearm Products for shipment only as a contractual service and only from Shippers who are licensed importers, licensed manufacturers, licensed dealers, or licensed collectors (as defined in Title 18, Chapter 44 of the United States Code) to authorized recipients, as outlined in an approved UPS agreement for the transportation of Firearm Products. |
| UPS will not pay even if they insure it. I worked for an 02/07 and UPS lost a rifle insured for $7500. UPS made every excuse in the world and never paid. After 6 weeks we offered to make a video about our experience with UPS and it was found about 10 days later in Iowa. The rifle shipped from Ga. to Ky. How does it go to Iowa? UPS delivered it to the FFL and never let us know it was found. The receiving FFL called us. UPS then changed our account so we can no longer ship firearms or can ship them with no insurance. What can brown do for you? The sad part is Fedex and USPS are much worse. |
