I kinda thought that it looked a little fatter than normal. I ended up ordering it with some 1911 mags and holders. that were posted on the 1911 mag thread. |

| Years ago I re-finished a M1A tiger stripe stock for a buddy of mine. I used my gun stock wax on it after it was finished and it turned out beautiful. I wish I still had a picture of it. |

HEADS UP PEOPLE. I just got mine from Sarco, these are NOT "tiger striped". It's a standard post war birch potbelly M2 style stock. It also needs reaming out if you're using a Ultimak rail instead of a handguard. I already have 1 of those here. I'm thinking of sending it back as not what as advertised. I'll post pictures real quick  OK, the new "tiger stripe" stock is on top, one of my older birch stocks on the bottom  Close up of the Sarco stock, clearly not a tiger striped stock Ok, I just noticed that Sarco changed the description of the stock from tiger striped to normal birch. That'll make me trying to send this back hard......buyer beware |

Sarco has developed a reputation as of late. They’ve been representing new Chinese reproduction items as originals by calling them “late production”. I’ve seen it a few times on other forums. I looked at my invoices and they also just state a regular stock. I could have sworn that it said "Tiger Stripe". |
