Shot both today, I own the 46. 300 blackout ar, 11.5 bbl. 220 gr subs, 190 gr sub x, Barnes black tip supers. I would have thought the sandman x would have been the winner. Being 7.62 can, more modern design, etc.. Back pressure was more noticeable and dirty empty cases With the sandman and the Subs slightly noisier. However , 1st round pop more noticeable in the 46 bushwhacker. The supers were very different in noise and tone. The 46 had more deep tone. Gotta say I’m still impressed by my griffin with its traditional baffles and user serviceable can! |
