Way back when, I bought an M1-D from the DCM. I have never used it nor fired it. The rifle, scope and all the other its accoutrements have sat in my safe since the purchase. Heck, I even have the box and packaging. All items have been well maintained but I do not foresee ever using it in any way. How do I go about determining a value, a sales price, were I to sell it? Where do I check, Gunbroker? Anywhere else? Anyone care to offer a guesstimate of the price or price range? Assume it is in excellent condition. ETA - Where does one offer such an item for sale? |

What I would do is auction it on Gun Broker, start it at $0.01, run the auction for two weeks, and have it end on a Sunday evening around 9pm Eastern. |

$7,999.00 Damn. I have one also. Have been thinking about selling it. The only thing with mine is my scope is a repo. I looked at prices a few months ago and they seem to be going for around $4,000. That guy might be holding on to that one for awhile. Attached File |

LIst prices on GunBroker are rarely a good metric. Do an advanced search for actual sold prices, is better. But remember, that is the absolute maximum price on the planet Earth the top one person was willing to pay, for that gun. Meaning, that may not be what you are going to get, at all. I've found you can sometimes get a decent starting point on Grok, if you take photos and a full accurate description. In general Grok is a little optimistic, so drop it a bit, but it's a good starting point. |

Let's just day you aren't shooting at the smaller steel. it's a fun scope. sometimes you forget if you're supposed to use the top of the post, or the crosshairs, sometimes you have to burn a round or two trying to use the recoil to get little flakes of the sealant off the inside of the glass too!
