I have a 13.7" JAKL upper with the shorter rail. Im trying to find pictures to gauge, but im having trouble. Anyone happen to know how much of the bottom of the rail is available to actually use? t |

This is the version for the LAW ARIC, not the Jakl, but hopefully this helps. I’m running a 9.875” rail on the upper with a 16” barrel. Attached File |

They have foregrips that attaches to in front of the trigger area, but I was curious if I could get away with just the barely lower handguard. They have the handguard extension, but I don't particularly want to use that. |
I just slapped my 10.5 on today. The 13.7" with the short handguard has a bit more than half and extra mlok slot compared to the 10.5 handguard as well as some extra spacing from the sling QD. Rough measurements say the short 13.7 handguard will likely be a hair longer then the chassis.

@Steamedrover It’s a bullpup chassis for the AR platform sold by SRU precision. It uses a standard AR lower and is easily compatible with the FM 15 and the JAKL bufferless uppers. It is also compatible with a standard AR upper if you use the dead foot arms 2.5 inch recoil system and bcg, Or you can buy the butt plate extension from SRU Kentri 3.5 inch buffer system that uses a standard BCG. The dead foot buffer system runs about $400, while the Kentri is $100. If you use the Kentri system the LOP is equal to the Springfield hellion bowl, so not obnoxious. |

| Hmmmm.... Any guesses how much too short one of the pistol length blackout JAKL uppers would be? I think they're about 8.5" barrels. It might be interesting if it was a full time suppressor host... |

It would work, and the suppressor would just ride above the chassis , but the handguard wouldn’t be long enough to use the front attachment lug. Without that the lower is held into the chassis primarily with the grip screw and also with the molding of the clamshell. I wouldn’t call that a solid mounting set up. Recoil could cause stress cracking or wear on the inner polymer. The A3 tactical triad kit would be better suited, but almost double the price. |
