Finally got my hands on a 17s! Took it out with an NX8 and it was nice. Lightweight and capable, but the kid inside me who grew up playing Modern Warfare 2 really wants to toss on an EOTech and call it a day. Attached File |

@HK94dude that’s fantastic! I had no idea there was a B&T stock that fit the scar. Is it off the shelf or do you have to modify/piece it together? I need this in my life ASAP. |

 Got the SCAR 17S out for some longer range shooting. Ended up at 400 yards, putting rounds on a 10" steel gong. Would like to have gone farther, but I'm happy I was able to get the dope at this range and ring steel relatively regularly. Video:  YouCut_20240210_173824705 by Jacob Allen, on Flickr

Made some tweaks to the 20. Upgraded the 3-15x Steiner M5xi to the 2.9-20x M7xi, +1 shade of FDE with the Reptilian CQG grip in Field drab. It’s advertised as fitting the SCAR but it took some modification, I like the size and angle but it’s a little slick, we’ll see if it sticks around or not. -1 shade of FDE because it’s got the 6.5 barrel in it and I don’t have a second mount for the AAC Mk13-SD yet, I finally decided to chop the 7.62 barrel to 16” but some recent developments have me putting that back on pause. I need to do a little more research but the availability of 30cal AEM5 suppressors makes me want to get the 7.62 cut and profiled for a flush suppressor to upper fit and use that with the 7.62 and the AAC with the 6.5 instead of swapping the AAC between the two.
