This question may not fit neatly in this forum, if so please move it to wherever appropriate. For anyone with a CMR30, how long would the barrel be if chopped to .25" beyond the factory handguard? What is the inside diameter of the handguard? Could a 1" diameter rimfires can be recessed inside the handguard? Would it accept a 1.5" center-fire suppressor (I'm guessing it won't). Has anyone done this and run their CMR30 suppressed? Before anyone suggests to just get a 5.7x28, I'm already heavily invested in .22 Magnum so this project just makes sense. |

On my Form 1 application I have 10.5” for barrel length and I’m pretty sure there’s .75” from the front of the hand guard to the threads. Attached File What is the inside diameter of the handguard? I doubt you’d be able to get anything under the hand guard area, it’s very narrow. Here’s a picture I grabbed off the internet that shows that it’s probably less than an .75” wide. Thanks for the reply! I figured the handguard would not be able to recess a suppressor inside. How has reliability been with yours? I watched a Lucky Gunner video where he says it's a fun carbine, but is not super reliable. Especially when dirty which is every 300-400 rounds. |
