[Last Edit: Haves]
My first rifle I actually bought new. Back around 1996-97.  I’ve shot elk, deer, and antelope with it.

Negatives. - it’s hell on ears if you don’t get that barrel out of the blind. It does loose FPS with the short barrel.

I haven’t seen anyone else carrying one in many years.  Attachment Attached File

I wish Ruger would bring those back.  Still one of the best looking rifles made.

My brother shoots one in 250 Savage.
Thankfully I am left handed, so they do not make one for me and I cannot be tempted to spend the money!
They are a beautiful gun.

I carried one in .308 during Kentucky's 2023 season. Just cleaned and put it away today.

I had a chance to get a stainless RSI in .223 but passed on it.

I have one in .308. It's the perfect rifle for northeast hunting.
