I have RAR in .300 BLK and .450 Legend. Both are Gen I. I would get the Gen II even though I don't care for the spiral fluted barrel. But it does have the 3 position safety instead of the two position on the Gen I. As for the 350 legend. My son has an AR15, haven't shot a deer with it, but it hammered the hogs he shot with it, so I would be confident in using it on deer. |
| I have one. Shoots well and accurate. Prefer to use modified Magpul magazines. YouTube has several examples on how to do it. I use 60 grit sandpaper wrapped around a file to remove the inner rib. They fit very snug and make less noise in the rifle. It suppresses well with a YHM R9. Pretty much all Winchester factory loads 145 FMJ, 150 black tip and 180 a hit about the same minute of baseball at 100 yds with no scope adjustment. Bought it when Wally World stop selling 223 and stocked up on all there 145 FMJ at 9.99 a box (around 600rd) to last me a lifetime with reloading components. Super easy to reload with common powders (H110, CFE BLK and IMR 4227). |
