This is a strange one. When I cycle the bolt, the cocking piece and firing pin assembly eject themselves out the back of the bolt. If I reassemble and leave the bolt shroud off, everything seems to function fine. Put the bolt shroud on and within a cycle or two the firing pin assembly comes shooting out. I have inspected everything, nothing appears to be broken or out of place. I have watched the reassembly videos to make sure I am doing everything right. Best I can tell, something with the shroud is allowing the lugs to rotate out of the bolt handle during cycling. Anyone ever heard of this before? Crazy thing is it worked fine for about 40 rounds and now I can basically get it to do it on command. |
