| Those that have SBR'd their Ruger American Ranch. What barrels did you use, or did you just cut down the factory barrel? I just got my approval. Any videos on how to remove the barrel nut? I know most people destroy the factory one and get an aftermarket one. What barrel nut do you all recommend? |

Gen 1, Youth stock, factory barrel cut to about 10" to the bevel on the stock, pinned SND6 for a 1 stamp rifle. Assume stock nut, was not mentioned by gunsmith. Attached File |
This is NO dress rehearsal, we ARE professionals, and this IS the big time.
I've run both a chopped barrel and now a Mostek 1:5. I used the Little Crow wrench to remove my barrel. I changed to an X-Caliber barrel nut since it has wrench flats.
