Has anyone tried 3D Resin printed baffles for suppressors? I've done a few searches but am coming up mostly empty. With the elimination of the $200 fee I figured I apply for a few stamps to mess around with next year. The easiest method for me to build a new suppressor would be 3D resin printed baffles stacked in an aluminum or titanium tube with end caps and thread adapters (direct thread to a 9mm PCC). I know standard resins aren't going to do the trick; I'm looking towards a few of the products from Siraya Tech (Blu & Tenacious or some combination). |

I have a new 3d printed design that allows you to pause the print after the first ~1" and put a steel tube in the base of the print as the blast chamber then the resume print toing seal chamber in front of can. Also use a similar process for embedding metal nfa text engraving. That is pretty cool. How do you have the printing head avoid the inserted tube? |

See how the print rises? At some point, with a vertical tube print, the print pauses you drop the metal piece and it resumes, it can't hit the metal because the layer it is at is below where print was paused. I use the same technique for nuts too. ![]() This design is even easier as you permanently bond the metal tag to the side instead of the dropping a ring around a vertically printed section and resuming. |

I am going to do PAHT-CF two separate builds... one a complete 3d printed suppressor with an epoxied aluminum ring for the markings and a steel thread adaptor a modified version of PLA-BOI FTN.5 and one with aluminum tube and endcaps with 3d printed K baffles.

1Andy2: it's just a question of if we decide to stop throwing coal in the furnace and lean on the brakes or if we're going to blow the boiler up getting to Full Retard'sville.
