I have an F1 suppressor that I built using a DM 1.625 Ti tube. The tube fractured at the engraving. I have a bunch of unused approved F1s and I'd like to reuse the caps/baffles/spacers from my old can in a new can. Is there any source for replacement tubes in the same pattern as the old DM tubes? This was an older one before they started honing out the ID to 1.5. I think the ID is around 1.48. I'd prefer Ti, but steel would be OK, too. TIA. |

Originally Posted By User55645: Subzero has 1.625x1.5 tubes. Add a wrap of 10thou shim stock and your gtg. Else, have a machine shop make your shock reservoir to your necessary specs. Shimming is a good idea. Do you know that Subzero uses the same thread pitch as DM used? (I think it was 24 per inch) Edit: I just checked and it looks like they do use the same pitch. |
