Can a Remington model 31 forend be modded to fit an 870? Gauge specific. I have an early 870 that came from the factory with the old style small corn cob. Im not sure if it was uncut old stock that they were using up or old stock they modified to 870 double bar spec. Anybody have any insight? If modified old stock... is it something a brave, handy guy with some tools can do? I love the old slim forends. Any help appreciated. |
