Well I received my M1 Garand Mini G back from Shuffs Parkerizing. We took it to our range and ran 50 rounds of M80 ball through it. NO LUBE! It ran FLAWLESSLY! We would have fired more but it was in the 40’s. VERY LOW Recoil To some it up…… Flawless (Zero Pits) Winchester receiver New Criterion .308 barrel M14 Magazine fed Reparkerized All of these years and no one could get a Tanker Garand right until Tim Shuffin did it. I didn’t remember to send my laminated stock in so I still need to cut a larger hole for the M14 magazine    |

Very nice. I always liked the BM-59/Mini-G version better than the M-1A. I had a .308 Tanker back in the day, I don't recall what brand or who did the conversion, but it was a handy little rifle. Now, you need to find one of these!  Attached File |

This one was built on a pretty pitted, sandblasted IHC receiver I bought at the Dallas Market Hall gun show from Lee's Gun Parts of Irving, TX, probably 8 years ago for $150, along with the parts off of one of the old CMP Hackberry rack grades. The SA receiver from that one became a Shuff's BM59E off a Sarco kit. Stock came from the CMP $50 stock box at the South Store. Attached File Attached File |
