 EXCLUSIVE: Inside the FRT Settlement with Rare Breed Stated at the 22:30 mark. They also have developed triggers for the AK-47. I think Lawrence DeMonico is a slimy POS. But I also think they make the best triggers. |
| In the big rare breed thread in GD someone posted the patent. It looked like a drop in replacement pack, I will go see if I can find it. |

From what I recall of the RB video, part of his agreement is he will not make a FRT for any handgun, defined as taking the magazine in the grip. He said something along the lines of he didn't like them, thought they were stupid; I don't recall his exact verbiage. |

The settlement seems like it ordinarily would have no stake in patents - Its patents and others are a separate matter really - the issue is whether the charges the ATF brought were legitimate and also the consequent fraud charges from the second circuit - those matters should have been handled within the confines of the cases and seemingly peculiar to make some strange out of scope concessions. I agree as the law stands per current interpretations and federal rulings - they are not MGs - (for any gun) nonetheless remain suspicious of the federal need to envelope handguns or not and behold an unusual definition of it for some reason. Just a hunch the institution regardless of leadership is always going to lean to limiting innovation of firearms regardless. |

| I emailed them to see if it would work in an HK MP5-22, but they just replied vaguely that they were busy and they hadn't thought about that, and that they were still working to get the MP5 FRT finished. |

Been debating on the 3 position myself but it's so much more than the super safety. I think I'd like the 3 position better but still that's my hold up plus ammo cost. If they make one that works for an ap5-p I'm getting one. I should probably just buy both and be done with it. The 9 would be fun and easier on my wallet though. |
| I am on the waiting list for the RBT MP5 Ambi trigger because its exactly the MP5 FRT trigger I've been dreaming of and nobody else (that I'm aware of anyway) is making anything even close to it. |

I wouldn’t rely on the notification from RB. I was on the list for the SEF version. I happened to check yesterday and it showed one in stock. I was able to get it ordered. I never did receive an in stock notification. I’ve been checking multiple times a day for the past couple of weeks. It seems like the Ambi version showed in stock somewhat frequently. |

It seems like lately, at least with the ambi model, they release a few a day so if you have a day where you can obsessively check their website and refresh a lot then there is a good chance you will get one that same day. They had some of the ambi ones earlier today but they only lasted a few minutes and sold out around 1:20PM Eastern. [Edit] They may not have been gone. It looks like they put a cookie in your browser history to make it show unavailable for seven days after you buy one. |
