Was reorganizing the safe and kinda forgot I had this thing. Form 1ed and put a hogue youth stock. Pretty handy and comfortable to shoot. I got this in the very late days of Remington getting raped by private equity firms. The gas piston assembly thing under the barrel fell the fuck off right after I bought it. Really bad welds The finish is about as durable as my daughters crayola washable paints. I’m going to Rapco spray paint it at some point. I got a hold of a guy in customer service that sounded like he’d been around a long time and he complained bout how shitty companies QC had turned and bullshitter a while. He got it fixed and back to me pretty quickly though. I sent it ATTN to him so customer service was incredible but that was probably just him being a bro. Like how it shoots with Federal LE loads but kinda never really trusted it since. This was a few of years ago when Remington closed then a little later started selling only 700s and Tac13s for a bit. The Hogue short stock fits the semi-autos? I bought one for an 870 for my son, liked it so I bought a spare still in the blister pack. May have to throw it on an 1100 and see if it fits. It’s already got an extra barrel cut back to 20 with no front sight, wouldn’t be too hard to cut it back to match the mag tube. Hmmm. 🤔 |
