Hello, Regarding the Raid Xe, has anyone been successful with getting Vis Override functioning with white light using the same remote button? There isn't much out there but a few reddit comments sound like it was functioning with a Unity Axon Sync, as well as the dual lead ERGOCTO pad, however the listing for the ERGOCTO pad from TNVC says specifically the white light button will not activate the Raid at the same time. That all said, I thought each button could be programmed from the Raid menus, which would imply that I could set either switch to be able to fire the vis laser off the same button as the Surefire. Does anyone have experience with this? Looking for guidance before I buy one switch over the other. Thank you! |

I confirmed with Wilcox just now that their dual lead switch P/N 65336G31 is not able to perform vis override. They are working with Unity Tactical on a specific RAID Xe AXON SYNC that will provide vis override. It will require a new for 2026 Wilcox RAID Xe Junction Box. The new Junction Box will be about $120. ETA is Q2 2026. I'm waiting on pricing and ETA for the AXON and I will post it here once I have it. Thank you sir! |

The Crane/Wilcox box and Axon Sync will work. You will need to program the "middle" option in the menu for "VIZHI" or whatever specific term it is, and have the Raid Xe in any mode but "off". When this is the case, it will activate the VIZ laser when you hit your SYNC remote button. If you are in IR or VIZ LO, it will activate on low power, if you are in the HI settings, on High. The Wilcox/Unity switch is basically an Axon XL and you will be able to program 2 buttons on it instead of one. |

While it will work, wouldn't you only be able to fire the vis laser from the other Axon button? Meaning you lose the ability to fire IR and/or IR flood on the fly from the same remote switch, as you can do with the ERGOCTO, which is much of the RAID Xe’s appeal. Because fixing the ERGOCTO would be far too intelligent? |

As I understand I can program the other button to whatever I want, which for me will likely be "Fire" to match whatever the unit is set to. My switch arrives tomorrow so I can start messing with it. And also correct, a properly functioning dual lead ERGOCTO would be awesome. |

But yes, I'll once again stump for an ERGOCOT tape that can fire both white light and vis laser. |

Update for ya'll Unity doesn't have an ETA yet or finalized SKUs or pricing. I'll post it as soon as the info is available. |

Wilcox released some info on the junction box... Wilcox Unity Junction Box I assume the Unity switch will look like the NGAL XL switch with 3 buttons? This would be a perfect solution if the rear button is also assignable so you could have your light and vis laser on the clicky button, fire button on the middle, and then flood on the rear. |

They need to reprogram the unit to allow low flood and pointer from remote. |

Have a hard time seeing how a ‘dumb’ crane plug switch can differentiate two different laser inputs from a single lead. The DBAL-A3 does it, but it has two crane plugs. |

This experiment was a bust. |

The Unity/Wilcox junction box and remotes really do open up a lot of features. |

Just an update, as Ive been messing with my Raid and the new junction box. This has become a mode setup I appreciate: -Wilcox/Unity junction box. - Axon sync w/Wilcox plug and usbc -wml with gas cap Program the front button of the axon sync to "AH" viz mode. This will give you viz override tied to Raid Xe setting. In high ir modes you will get rhe full beans. In low modes, viz low, in conjunction with your white light. Program the rear momentary pad for "aim and illumination low ir", and Program your low illuminator via the unit, to flood. This will give you a dedicated cqb mode in ir. You will then move the selector on the Raid Xe to dual high, after setting up your illum and beam power to compliment ambient in your environment. This will be activated via the unit itself. This gives you, without adjusting controls: Ir dual high, throw. Ir dual low, flood Viz override and viz wml, high |

Interesting, I had read the manual for the AXON Sync for the Wilcox and had discarded it as being useful, assuming that the rear fire button was merely slaved to the "fire" button. The fact that it is programmable has me very interested. I am curious as to the line that states "AXON™ remote configuration options for the BOSS Xe™ or RAID Xe™ are configurable through the Wilcox Xe™ app in the Google Play Store"; I have not seen such an app. Is the app actually needed for this programming, or is it simply an easier way to program the laser compared to cycling through the controls on the laser itself, and is simply a QoL upgrade rather than being strictly necessary? I would also be curious about the AXON XL's programmability, if the front and rear buttons are also programmable. Edit: Looking at Wilcox's manual for the AXON (which is far more helpful than Unity's), it looks like the AXON XL's front and rear button are slaved (equivalent to what is programmed to button 3 on an ERGOCOT) and the middle button is independently programmable (equivalent to button 2). I guess I don't really see what the advantage of the AXON XL is compared to the AXON for the RAID Xe, as I have a hard time imagining a scenario where using the white light at the same time as the vis pointer would be that problematic that you would lock out programmability for it. Shame, I was hoping for three different programmable buttons for use on my 14.5", since I can't actually reach the RAID Xe itself physically while shooting as it is at the end of the handguard. I wonder if it just an issue with Wilcox or Unity cheaping out on the junction box and wanting to not have to do separate SKUs or something between the AXON and AXON XL junction boxes and price concerns meant that they would rather neuter the AXON XL than to give the AXON extra unneeded pins on the junction box. |
