IIRC Front caps for those Maverick tubes matched Diversified or SPC. So the 1.5” OD tubes took male 1.437” x 24 tpi threaded front caps. The 1.625” OD tubes took 1.529” x 24 tpi. As a check: The mid-spec diameter of the female thread minor dimension (which you can measure) is approximated by male major minus 1/tpi. 1/24= 0.0417. So a 1.529-0.0417 is an inside diameter of 1.487” at the inside of the female threads. The 1.5” tube should have an ID of 1.437-0.0417= 1.395”. Even with calipers you should be able to gauge the ID of the female tube threads within a few thou. A thread gauge can confirm it’s 24 tpi. Similarly bravo tubes female thread ID is close to 1.375” (male thread major OD) - 1/24 (which is 0.0417”) = 1.333”. Most bravo tube threading on factory cans is 1.335”. |
