Hello everyone, I have a total of 9 radios I need to program. 7 are Baofeng UV-5R, 1 Baofeng BF -F8HP, and 1 Kenwood TH-D74. I have the CHIRP program, but I am completely lost. Are there companies out there that can program these as a service? I am located in Fort Myers, FL. Thank you in advance for your feedback. |

What's ASCA service? Might be able to provide more info if I knew what that was. |

I would suggest watching a couple chirp YouTube videos or reaching out to the local ham group. All the Bofang radios should work in chirp. Not sure about the Kenwood. Once you get one done, all you need to do is copy and paste into the others. What issues are you having with Chirp? |

Gotcha. I get buried in acronyms at work, so my brain just goes there. I'm assuming he's not going to use repeaters, or ham freqs, and just wants MURS and FRS/GMRS freqs progammed. Chirp has the ability to import those real quick. There should be some 'toob videos to show how to do that. |

I have an Excel document that I work off of. I actually found a template with all the standard frequencies (GMRS and MURS), and then programmed in my local weather and repeater frequencies. CHIRP allows you to import that and upload directly to your Baofeng radios and duplication is as simple as swapping the radios and uploading the programmed freq list. Fast and easy to replicate with several radios and allows you to determine the channels. ROCK6 |

It's not hard to figure out once you play around with it a little bit. |
