$3k seems pretty low/reasonable really, even being not NIB even though it has the box. I sold my Steyr Secundus civvie model a few years ago for like $3.5k, thought they seem to be going up, up , up. But maybe the mags were the better dollar for dollar investment, they have 10x in the last 20 years. |

If anybody reading here wants an FAL and your pockets are deep enough this is the best FAL you will ever get a chance to own. Fit and finish on these is superior to an actual FN. These standard barrel SAR48's are 100% made by Imbel who is a licensed OEM builder of FALs. Some of these have the slightly heavier T marked barrel and are know to be pretty accurate for an FAL. It was more accurate than an FN when tested by American Rifleman Magazine back in the 80's. I was lucky to be able to rescue an SAR48 from a local pawn shop and it was in unfired condition.
