Is it required to submit a pic of the lower that’s being registered? Dang, I sure hope not. |

The only time I’ve found a picture actually helps if it’s for something that isn’t already in the database and has to go to pending research. Then it will help clearing the research time before it goes to submitted/in process. Otherwise, it doesn’t make it go any faster. But it can screw you if what you submit doesn’t match exactly what’s on the picture you send. |

| I recently submitted a pic of my lower marked 'Colt Defense'. I only listed it as 'Colt' on the form because the pulldown menu did not have 'Colt Defense' and I thought the list was definitive. I was afraid it would be rejected. Approved. |
