Don’t have one but I’ve considered one before. As I recall the 50 and 54 have faster twist rates for conicals. The 58 and 72 are more suited for round balls.  I’d verify before you buy a bunch of components if you don’t already have them.

Right now I can only find .535 balls. Couple other local stores to check. Most lgs here don't carry bp. I wanted to use maxi-balls but may have to make them myself.

Just checked their website and it looks like the 50 & 54 have 1:24 twist, the 58 has 1:48 and the 72 has 1:75. That thing should stabilize heavy conicals good and have the mass to soak up some of that recoil.

Well the maxi-balls I ordered from Dixie Gun Works should be here tomorrow or Friday. Never used this kind of ammo before. You just put lube in the grooves or do you use a patch?

Maxi balls I just lube.
Patch would probably be detrimental to accuracy in my opinion, besides the clearance would be to tight with bore diameter.

finally got it to the range. Its got quite a thump to it with 100grs .  Have to get it to a range with 50yds to stat getting it sighted.  Kind of weird having to flip the rear sights up and down for each barrel.
