Hey everyone! I’ve built an FAL and a VZ61 (re-weld) at this point. Neither especially difficult. No particular preference, just like having a little project/learning something new. I can weld (not a pro), and refinish. What should I look at next? - STEN MK2 - HK - Ak - ??? |
I'm working on a hammer fired PM-63 at the moment.  It's definitely a more complicated build. AK builds are fun and easy, just time consuming. MG42 if you want to rip your hair out, especially if your receiver ends up as out of spec as mine was. VZ58. Galil are fun. |

Originally Posted By osprey21: Star Z-70B kits are plentiful and cheap. I second this. Plus they dont have a fixed firing pin. And there is space in the bolt for a hammer to fit if you cut a slot in the bottom. So you can convert one to an AR trigger closed bolt pistol or SBR pretty easily. |
