I was excited about it when I got mine. Then I actually tried it at the range and found it would hit on my gear when slung or moving. I’m sure I could have trained better with it, but since I use an 1100 also, I just put the charging handle back on the right. If it was my only shotgun, I would have tried using it longer to see what I could figure out and get used to. |

I initially bought two standard models to avoid the extra cut in the receiver. Then I broke down and bought a SPEED model just for the lightened bolt carrier. I actually like the opened up loading port on the SPEED, and the ported 18" barrel was pretty nice. However I have never even cared to try the left side charging. The extra ingress hole hasn't been a issue. Some slap velcro over it for a card holder. I'm surprised someone hasn't made a plug that inserts from the inside with threaded holes to mount optics like a AK Mount or card holders Exedra |
