Lever guns have their own following. Renewed interest in these guns as of late. In the rifle calibers, there are a lot of options, lots of calibers. Even new box mag fed like the Henry Supreme. Now, there is big popularity of pistol caliber guns and renewed interest on the old standards, and new calibers. 22lr, .357, 38 Special, 44 mag, 44 Special, 45 Colt, and new rimless calibers. .223, .556, .308, 6.5 Creedmore, and more coming. Now the 12 gauge shotgun round and .410 bore guns. 1887 and 1901 Winchester replicas by different manufacturers. The Panzer Arms EG220 is a bit different. It seems to be a semi auto chassis converted to a lever gun! Maybe think of it as a pump gun with a lever to operate the action, not a traditional forend. The bolt release button on the side....Not. It allows you to empty the magazine without cycling the lever. Slick. It works. Looks a bit different, a look all its own. Action is good, not real smooth but very livable. I purchased one online after reading some reviews. A $400 price point. The wood stock is really quite nice. Fit and finish quite nice too! Pleasantly surprised. 18.5" barrel. A 5 + 1 gun but comes with an extension to make it 6 + 1. Nice. Also comes with a birdshead grip. Very nice. Poor picture. The choke is, as with all turkish made shotguns in the Beretta/Benelli Mobil system. Has an integrated dovetail rail (not a pic rail) cut in the receiver. A separate nut to secure the barrel. Nice red anodized aluminum follower. That barrel nut is the same thread as the larger nut that secures the forend. Thats great. The engineers were thinking of me when they designed this gun. It's too long. Gonna SBS it down to about 10" and 4+ 1 capacity. Barrel length will be just past the barrel nut. The manual it came with is somewhat lacking so I'm on my own for certain information on disassembly. This it how it looks today.
