| lol wonder why PTR jumped into that market. Done at scale I could see how there's some profit. Definitely some market. I'm glad I found my 12 and 20 Safety Harbor guns when I did. |

Did the Mossberg factory front grip fold or was it just a stubby? I’ve never seen one in person. The Safety Harbor is nice. I assume it’s the same as Serbu because of the employee that was both places. Attached File Attached File Attached File |

| I just want to find a decently priced 500 aow. Preferably with a folding vert grip which seems impossible to find now. Best I have seen was a 20ga but I want to run some 12ga mini shells to get a little more capacity. Sucks you don't really see ANY on the used market now or extremely overpriced. |

This is a much better option than modifying a Tac-14 or Shockwave like some have suggested. That’s $450 for the shotgun, $200 for a SBS stamp (rather than $5 for a AOW stamp), $75 or so for furniture, and $450+ in machining work. You’d have to cut, re-crown and rebead the barrel. You’d also have to cut + rethread the mag tube and then rejoin the mag tube to the barrel. |

Serbu and safety harbor both stopped making the AOWs and clearly demand is still there. |

Sometimes it's as simple as a distributor adding a sku into their system and with everything being tied in now it auto populates on all the websites. |

Well some people on Reddit have already received their Jacks. I had a line on a dealer that supposedly had 6 of them on their shelf, they weren't on their web site, I called, was 30 seconds too late they were sold out. But the sales guy said they had a bunch more on order and PTR is shipping them out. |

Good to see that mass production has really dropped the entry price for these. A lot of the work done by hand on the front ends can be done in CNCs that will just pump these out as fast as possible. I bet there are plenty of people who are looking for the next stamp project and this will be it. Hopefully they produce a kit with the complete front end like Mossberg does with the 14” front ends. Plenty of people with SBSs that would scoop them up. |

They also have a Breacher listed, for LEO sales only. but in that add they say on Dec 6th they were notified that they had 2 Jacks and 1 Breacher incoming from PTR. So it sounds like PTR is shipping some more out. I ordered one from PTR web site already back when they were still $749. The Kansas Armory charges 3% CC fee and shipping, PTR doesn't so even at $710 it's going to work out about the same. Hoping since PTR is shipping to dealers that my order will be shipped soon too. |
