Sep 1 picking up a FDE PS90 and looking to change a couple things. First thing--I'm not inquiring about FRT's, SBR, etc--one thing at a time. Looking to use the Aimpoint Micro with this and currently see two vendors, HBI and Design Machine. I like the sling mounts HBI-would their mounts work with the Design Machine Optic mount? I like the 4 screw attachment of DM, hence th equestion. Any issue with the HBI mounting method with their optic mount? I appreciate it. I have all HBI accessories (PS90, APC9K, Scorpion, Stribog). Why mix things up if you don’t have to plus any issues and they’ll take care of it/you. But I’m biased: they’re local to me. |

I might be biased though since I make them :) Working on a red dot optic mounting system too. Have 10 plus different footprints currently being machined, will be cheaper to swap optics than anyone else. |

Well, I mounted the HBI mount from FN Specialties, Holosun ARO. Initial bore sight at home then a quick 25 yard verification. Followed by an outdoor trip to zero at 50, check offset at 25 and 7. I will later on test some other loads and also check at 10 and 15-oh and 100. Might tweak the zero a tad, maybe up 1 "click" Federal AE 40 FMJ was used for this initial trip. Not bad for the platform, overall good to go.
