I bought my PS90 the first year they were available. The first mod I did was buy a magazine coupler. 50 rounds are great but 100 rounds are even better, right??? That’s what I thought until now. I never realized how much higher I had to mount a red dot to adjust for the 2nd magazine. And with the 2nd mag and the higher sight it kind of made the gun awkward to shoot. Recently I mounted a Design Machine fixed mount with a Holosun 507 series red dot. This setup sets the red dot as low as the original P90 sight my gun shipped with. After getting it all set up I realized with the height of the magazine coupler and 2 magazines I couldn’t see clearly through the Holosun. I took off the 2nd magazine and could now see clearly through the center of the red dot. As a surprise bonus with the lowered sights it makes handling the PS90 so much more comfortable and natural. Anybody else notice this? |

Not having the stacked magazines makes for a much better feel of the gun when shouldered and shooting. Attached File Attached File |

With the 2 mags stacked I felt more of the 90 degree edge of the top magazine when shooting. But now with the single mag shouldering the PS90 doesn’t have that awkward feel to it, feels more natural and comfortable. Haven’t been shooting this gun much and I’m really starting to think this is why. The reason I made this post is I was wanting to see if anyone else came to this same conclusion. |
