| Anyone have a source for them in stock? Everyplace I look they appear out of stock. Few of mine the heads have started to rust thought I’d swap them out. |

You have to just sign up for in stock notification at Midwest Gun Works. Yours have started to rust? That’s very odd. How are you storing them? If it’s just surface rust, there are many ways to remove it and prevent it. Soak in Kroil overnight. Then use a bronze brush or a fine Scotchbrite pad with Kroil to gently remove the rust. Then hose it down with Hornaday One Shot. |

It was stored in a safe for a few years before I got it the owner had passed and the dehumidifiers while plugged in had unknowingly tripped the GFI outlet for some reason or another. Humidity unfortunately was subsequently allowed to raise to the point things that otherwise wouldn’t have been an issue were. While the action and barrel probably had a coat of oil the bolts likely hadn’t ever been thought of as needing it. Somethings I had to clean with some 0000 steel wool and hoppes. They aren’t to bad I thought simply replacing the bolts would be easier in this instance however. |
