Can a PPS-43 / WZ-43/52 run 9x19mm from the original magazines without modifications and is there any modifications needed to the recoil spring to function reliably? I built a post sample Polish WZ-43/52 in 9x19mm and am planning to test it tomorrow if no modifications are needed. |

No main spring changes that I'm aware of. Make sure your barrel matches the trunnion diameter. The commercial PPS-43c has a larger trunnion bore than a mil trunnion. This is more of a note to anyone that wants to convert their tok gun to 9x19. |

Took it out and it worked flawlessly using my pps43 mags. Because the 9mm is not as hot as 7.62x25, it is softer shooting as the bolt is hitting the buffer like the original chambering did. I put 3 full mags (105 rounds total) in it and was burst firing to check for runaway firing, not one unintended discharge. |

The company said it was a replacement barrel for a F/A or semi-auto built from a kit. |

Yeah i run mine with just a barrel swap. I will say to always wear safety glasses with it. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I had a couple OOB detonations/case blowouts in my first few hundred rounds and ive heard its common. Ive been shooting mostly steel case magtech ammo through it since then and it hasn't had any more. But im always vigilant. Also, make sure you tap the rounds to the back of the mag before loading in the gun. The shorter 9x19 rounds can get out of whack in the mags. Tapping the spine lines them up. Some people have added a shim down the front of the mag. But we just tap them |
