This looks too good to be true... 640 thermal + integrated laser rangefinder + QD mount + low light leak eyecup + IPX6 and not much bigger than Infitac / MRO for $1799? Would this work as a clip on in front of LPVO?  This is TOO SMALL to be TRUE! I remember paying $1,800 just for the core of a Boson 320, it would have been another grand for a 640, so even if that's a little pricy for a 640 these days it's hard for me to update those expectations. I like how small it is because in truth 90% of the time I'm going to be sticking it in a pocket and using it handheld like a Breach, but I'd rather buy once cry once and if it could work as a clip on (assuming height matching) I'm definitely interested assuming it's decently built, water resistant for real and so on. I like that you don't have to use the touchscreen (I wonder if you can disable it) I really wanted a Holosun DPS-TH because it solves some problems for me -- I can use it like a thermal or use it like a real red dot, but that seems to be vaporware... so in the meantime this was the closest thing to something I'd be interested in unless the Breach ever came out in 640 and had clip-on capability. |

I bought one and have been very impressed. Only complaints, there is some debris in the rifle eye piece and the time it takes to set up the ballistic calculator. (Maybe I missed something, but you have to enter the bullet weight by scrolling up from 000.00, took forever to get to 350 gr. I switched to grams and went a little quicker) I really like the constant ranging with real time holdover correction. Game changer with the 8.6 BLKOUT subs. |

| With the OneLeaf company saying there will be future lens available, the potential of this tiny little thermal might be very impressive! I'd love to see a 50mm lens or one even more powerful, to push the potential range out further without needing digital zoom. |

Ive been looking for a scanner and/or short range varmint thermal since getting a Pulsar thermion xl60. The Pulsar is really nice but mounted on my Tikka xtr it gets to be a tank used for scanning. I have a 50mm xl1000lrf on the way to mount on a 10/22 for short range(100yds max) coons and hope to remove and use as a scanner deer hunting. With a TREX discount I found it is $1631 shipped. 50mm lens, quick detach mount and extra battery. |
