Just got a call from my state attorney generals office. She left a message saying. We received your application to mfg a firearm. We do not handle that here in this office. You need to send a copy to your county sheriff. We can either shred this for you, or send it back. But it needs togo to your county Sheriff.  How do I proceed with this? AFAIAC they got notified. Lol What would you do? |

As long as ATF recognized them as CLEO and that’s what’s on your form then you’re good to go. In my uneducated and totally not really knowing any better thinking is that sending them to a state AG office there’s more a chance they will be discarded especially if your actual local CLEO is Democratic in nature and antigun. Living in Philadelphia I have no doubt the CLEO notifications they receive are filed for future reference so sending them to AG is preferred. |

This is actually a question I have. I eFiled 3 Form 1s, I listed Co Sheriff for CLEO on all 3, just copied the address and phone number off their website. Do I need to do anything else? Do I need to mail them copies of my Form 1s? |

I will never send them to my sheriff. We found out from one of his staff that he has a database of all the forms sent to him. I'm not sure if that's even legal but he can fuck off. In the past he would not sign off for individuals to get NFA stuff. I had to do a trust when I first started out in the NFA game. |
