They aren't as fancy as most of the knives already posted, but over the last year, I've bought several U.S. military-issue pocketknives through a local auction house. I have about $50, total, invested in all four of them. Attached File From left to right, they are: 1967 Imperial 1977 Camillus 1986 Queen City Cutlery 1991 Camillus The 1986 QCC knife has "CPL Buckley, L H" engraved on the side opposite the U.S. marking. |

Pics I removed the scales from my Beckers, removed the coating on the blade then soaked the blade in vinegar overnight, dried them off then dabbed mustard with a sponge and gave it a cool looking forced patina. The scales on yours makes me want to order a set for mine. |

Sometimes you just need a couple of nostalgic but modern big body babes.  Next to a full size SRK for comparison.  Bought the Leatherneck to use but after seeing the prices on their signature series stuff after a few years, definitely keeping it as a collector to sell down the road. So I had to turn around and buy another standard model.  |

Looking for my first .45. Satin nickel Colt Combat Commander serial # 70SC85412 sold at a gun show in Louisville KY sometime in 1985. My Avatar, my sweet princess girly girl Maggie. Got a nice 15 years with her, miss her a lot.
Keeping the Buck theme going, they just had their Christmas sale this last week. This was a special build out, maybe an early prototype. Apologies for the bad pictures. And this was a production model, they discontinued it recently.

Looking for my first .45. Satin nickel Colt Combat Commander serial # 70SC85412 sold at a gun show in Louisville KY sometime in 1985. My Avatar, my sweet princess girly girl Maggie. Got a nice 15 years with her, miss her a lot.

They had another build out that looked like the 891 but with a blood grove and the spine wasn't ground so far back along the blade, should have taken a pic. |

Two fantastic knives that get a lot of use. Grohmanns might not be the latest and greatest, but I love ‘em. The bottom one has seen some real abuse, has already been rehandled once, I just keep sharpening it and hitting any real flaws with sandpaper. Ready to be thrown back in the truck tool box.

Found my old SOG Tomcat! I’ve had this thing probably 35 years, haven’t seen it in almost 20. Next to my 110 for size comparison.

Got a new hunting knife. Bought it in Ruidoso, NM from a shop. Shop owner said the knives they were selling were hand forged in Ruidoso and the maker had died, so they bought everything from his widow to help her out and are selling them.
