Once you get over the initial "shock and awe" it's rather pleasant to shoot. No so much on my wallet, however.

No real good pictures of the rifle itself aside from this, but here's my GSR in the woods last deer season, right before my hunting buddy and I bailed on that spot to get some grub.

Next year I'm using the polymer mags.  And that sling is MUCH more broken in now.  Love that rifle.  Don't love the territory.

My most unique Ruger, a M77Mk2 Frontier in .308
This pic is the crummy Ruger rings, and a Tasco scope.  I've added a set of adapters, and regular rings to try and improve the accuracy.
Factory ammo bucks like a mule.  Its only like 6lbs without scope.

But 150 or 200gr lead with some 2400 running at about 1700fps tames this gun pretty well, but still searching for better accuracy.
My next try will be a bushnell banner long eye relief scope.

I understand they did not make a lot of these.

Integrally suppressed Ruger 77/44.  I use .44 Specials in it - shockingly quiet ignition with a big "wallop" on the other end.
Works pretty well putting those drain holes in plastic flower pots, too.
