Starting to wonder if they are not going in submission order... Numerous reports of people that filled form 1s at like 9-10 am EST on Jan 1 getting approvals but people that submitted way earlier haven't gotten anything back....even those that filed with a SS as a individual. |

I currently have 1 Form 1 and 7 Form 4's saved in Drafts. It won't let me add additional RP's to any of them. Nothing happens when I click the button to add additional responsible persons. Anyone else experience this? Also... When submitting the RPQ's, do I affix the photos to that form, and scan/upload the form WITH the photo affixed; or upload the form without the photo, and upload the photo separately? |

I got an SBR form 1 approved this morning that I submitted on Thursday afternoon, and I'm still waiting on a different SBR form 1 that I submitted a couple hours earlier. |

Takes just a couple minutes to create one using eForms and a free online PDF tool. |

Finally got around to filling 5 SBR's on trust. Goofy me forgot I had to sign the RP forms so I was delayed a bit before I could print them out, sign and scan back in to save. I wish I had thought of this before the 1st so I could of had it ready since I was off a few days. Only 2 gave me an error message. The last one was the worst, LOL  Hopefully I got it all right as it has been a minute since I have did eforms. Overall I thought it went pretty smooth. |

| They definitely aren't going in order. I filed a F1 as individual around 730am on 1/1 and am seeing people that filed a day later getting approved, while I'm still waiting. And my item is one of the most ubiquitous guns in the US (870). EFT, pics of receiver engravings, SSN, everything done to a T. And still nothing. |

Filed 4 Form 1s at 7pm using EFTs. All submitted smooth. Silly question as it’s been a while since I completed a form 1. I submitted with EFTs and they were accepted but my confirmation email has a section at bottom advising to send two fingerprint cards. Am I correct to disregard due to EFT? |

I can tell you about the 25 I did. My earliest one was submitted at 12:47am EST right after eforms opened and that was the 1st one approved on the 3rd at 7:39am EST. The second approved one was submitted at 2:33am. That was approved on the 3rd at 9:31am EST The third approved one was submitted at 2:23am. That was approved on the 3rd at 2:05pm EST Two more were submitted between the time those three and are still pending. |

You still have to pass the background check, which is either similar to or is just NICS. Everything on the form gets checked for accuracy, and if you're in a more restrictive state they check to make sure you're not violating state laws. Judging by the speed some are getting approved, it's likely they have an automated system in place that either approves or flags for review. How the inspector that gets your form chooses to go through their list is likely highly varied, but any hangups like on the background check or legal review means they're likely moving on to the next form. I have no clue what determines what the next form is. |

They just aren't required to reply within three days like regular items. And my state allows us to own any NFA items without issue so it's not that. Who knows? Maybe my inspector is on vacation? |

We tried to submit the first form about 4 or 5 times with a system error each time. He refreshed the form and then we got it submitted successfully on the second attempt. The second form submitted successfully on the first try. Total time, including the wait on hold was 35min. |

I submitted two Form 1 SBR's, both Individual on 1/1 around 12PM EST and another around 2PM EST - Both just took many many submissions prior to acceptance, both have yet to be approved as of 1/6/26, but I'm not in a rush. I suspect they'll be approved sooner rather than later. I think ultimately they have some kinks to work out of the system and long-term it would be fine. It would be nice to see if go away completely, however. |

Capitol Armory update received in email in the last 15 min. The ATF's Dumpster Fire - Now (Mostly) Under Control The ATF's eForms system is in rough shape, but we are working through it and processing forms. We're currently submitting and certifying forms on a first-in, first-out basis, starting with orders placed in July 2025 and continuing chronologically through January 2026. If you've placed an order with us, here's what you can expect. Within 1-2 Weeks: You will receive a DocuSign email for each suppressor purchased. It's critical to review, sign, and complete these documents promptly to ensure your application can be filed electronically as soon as the ATF system becomes available. After Signing: Once you've signed your documents and the ATF system has successfully received your information, you'll receive a "Ready to Certify" email. This represents the final step in the electronic filing process. Note that this email will only be sent after your Form 4 has been drafted in eForms. Depending on your purchase date and eForms system stability, this notification may take 1 to 2 weeks after you sign your initial documents. KEY POINTS We are currently submitting and certifying forms. Orders are prepared in the sequence they were placed, starting with orders from July. If you ordered in December, you're toward the back of the line. We're moving as fast as the ATF's system allows. We will contact you when your paperwork is ready to sign, when it's ready to certify (final step) and again when it's approved. While eForms is online, it's important to understand it's behaving well below the desired standard. Frequent errors, intermittent downtime, and unusually long loading times are affecting the ability to submit and certify forms. We expect this to improve as the initial wave of traffic subsides.
