Post here about your experience with the new process. I managed to submit three Form 1s - a SBS and two SBRs - as an individual with EFT fingerprint file. I started a few minutes after midnight and the process went very smoothly, with minimal latency and only a couple of possible glitches: 1) The "COUNTY" data box for my address was empty and I was not able to input that information. I hope this was some change in policy that they no longer need that information. 2) The "PAY" box was grayed out and could not be clicked on, so I just clicked directly on "SIGN & SUBMIT". As others have mentioned, it took a few attempts (3-4 for each form) for the system to accept my PIN. Now that they are all submitted successfully, it will be interesting to see how quickly they get approved. I will come back here and post when that happens, or if any problems arise. UPDATE 24 January 2025: All three of the Form 1s I submitted in the early hours of January 1st just got approved

Worked fine for my F1 this morning. Pretty much the normal amount of latency and the PIN went right in. When you got the email back with the submission copy, was the photo no longer on there? Previously, the photo was to the side of the RP questions. Now the questions go the full width of the form and there isn’t even a space for the photo. |

ETA: Looked at the Form 1 on the ATF web site, and it still shows #12 as the photo, and it’s definitely the new form. Strange that the eForm would be different. |

For the responsible persons form, it wants me to upload a PDF. I completed the ATF's 5320.23 PDF, until I got to the certification / responsible person signature line. Attached File Adobe Acrobat is showing a red tag like I should be able to click on something, draw my signature and then save the PDF, but I'm not seeing a way to do that. Clicking on the tag or on the signature line does nothing. Is an electronic signature possible, or do I need to print out the form, sign the paper and then scan in the pages and save them as a new PDF? |

I had to keep tryting with my pin like 8 times before it went through. I have seen some people say they had to swtich browsers; from Safari to Chrome. I was using Chrome from the get-go. |

between 1 and 2:30 EST it was working normally for me. between 2:15am and 3am the numbers went from 2026337xxx to 2026338xxx |

Signature has to be “wet ink style” obviously. You can try saving it and doing it with pdf software. The .pdf may be locked though when you try. Assuming you have an iPhone. The easiest fix I’ve found. Save the pdf to downloads. Open pdf, select print, uncheck the bullshit instructions pages. Then print/save to files. It should be unlocked and allow you to use Apple’s autofill this form popup. |

| I purposely submitted two Form 1's about 12 hours a part to get an idea of how many are coming through. Overnight we have about 30,000 submissions. That's overnight on a night where most people are out partying and enjoying a holiday. If I remember correctly, in 2023 there was under 300,000 for the entire year. This is going to be insane. |

Well shit, that would be a hell of a lot easier than what I have done each time, which is print the thing, sign it, scan it back in as six images, cram those into a word document, and then convert that doc to a pdf. On the positive side, I had that done before midnight. On the negative side, I specified a DD model type on that 5320 that wasn't exactly the same as what they had in their system for my DDM4V7LW, and I went with the closest option (without the LW) since I didn't want to redo the 5320 or enter a new model type on eForms and go down the exception path. Hoping they aren't sticklers about it, especially since that model number doesn't even appear on the lower. It's painted on the upper. |

It sounds like you know these systems a bit... I'm just assuming that whatever code accepts submissions is rate-limited. |
