It appears to be an actual do-it-all-under-.36 caliber suppressor. Anyone have one? Is it too good to be true? Should I stop being a cheap bastard and buy more than one? Any actual experience would be appreciated. |

I have one. I have only used it on a Kuna and a PSA Dagger. I don't have experience with any other 9MM cans but it was very quiet on both with subsonic ammo. It is way too heavy on a pistol but I threw it on there just for fun. I will eventually try it on a 308 bolt action and 556 AR but have not had the opportunity yet. It is definitely a tank and would make a great all around suppressor. With that noted, I bet it sucks in comparison to caliber specific cans that are shorter and weigh a good amount less. If you just want to get one can I think it would be a good option but people rarely ever get one can. |

9mm, 7.62x39, 350L, 357/38, 22lr, 8.6 blk, 300 blk, etc other similar cartridges - does really good 5.56, 6 arc, etc other similar cartridges - does okay. 308, 6.5 creed, 300 win mag etc is where performance really starts to suffer. Funny story about the universe. We were designing and testing/optimizing an AK/7.62x39 suppressor. It had a 9mm sized bore to compensate for shitty AK threads. Sometime during testing we started fucking off and just trying it on different random things and were like “hey… this sounds pretty okay on everything. We should just make a few tweaks to friendly up the subsonic performance a tad and call it a universal suppressor. We’d sell more of them that way anyway.” This the universe-36 was born. So it performs shockingly good on AK’s and that’s not an accident haha. TLDR Performance is really good on things 7.62x39 and under. Pretty okay on 5.56 and 308 and larger is when performance starts to drop off. But if you look at PewScience data is laughably does better than some 5.56 suppressors out there. |
