There's an update to that meltdown video. After everything cooled down and they took the can off they found the 3 port stainless steel ASR brake had detonated. It sent shrapnel thru the suppressor. The general idea is that a brake will protect the suppressor, but the plan didn't work in this case. The test may very well have gone on longer if they had used a flash hider or gone direct thread. I put a few demo rounds thru one and thought it was very good, it's on my short list for my next can. |

Yee I believe the brake made the can fail way early. Look at the 2100 rounds juicey media did on it and then the universe-36 video we just did with goldenwebb. The 556k is just as durable as the universe-36 but we ran it direct thread. We’ll run it back eventually but I’m confident it’ll take whatever anyone wants to throw at it https://youtu.be/xEERkvOyqHc?is=VdXQ0q8LMuiUiuO1 https://youtu.be/684yp_jW4Tg?is=2G4ffACECzKf76Rh |

For the Infinity series, are they flow through can like a Huxwurx, or more like Ridgeback or Exigent defense cans? Those don't use an end cap, so was wondering where the difference lies. |

Ranked least to most back pressure of what we’ve tested that you’re asking about 1. Hux 2. Infinity vented end cap 3. Infinity medium back pressure end cap 4. Fireteam 556 5. Infinity high back pressure end cap The only exigent suppressor I have experience with is the fireteam and it’s not low back pressure in my opinion. |

Well, shot some rounds through a 14.5 Block 1 clone today and I was super impressed. Shot it with no ears and it felt totally comfortable, backpressure with the vented cap was next to nothing. Should have the video up in the next few days! Attached File Attached File |

You get to play with different end caps on different hosts yet? I always love hearing what end caps people like on what guns and stuff it makes me happy |

Really interested to see how those all play together though; I’m thinking the closed cap with a Riflespeed AGB will be silly quiet. |
Found this from FRP. Good video. The Infinity556k sounds just like the Polo. The Polo is a great can. ![]() OCL INFINITY 556k vs OCL Polonium | Head-to-Head Suppressor Review |

I’m really happy with it and excited for them to start getting out there. |

I like the idea, and would rather support a good company like yours, but I really dig the handing of very lightweight suppressors. Even for my AR uses, which are mostly carrying around in the woods hunting or shooting at the range (but usually longer range controlled shots and not more than a mag or two before cooling to ambient). Maybe call it the Infinity 6k to denote that it's less for mag dumping into trash and more for sniper larping with 6ARCs and whatnot? The Internet has informed me that I need to "Gym-up Bro" and learn to love Inconel, but it's just not working and I'm stuck on TI. |

No plans for a titanium version of the 5.56 right now but never say never, that could always change. |

We have a few patents pending on the infinity and have leased them to a few different companies now, them being one of them. And like you said it’s just a titanium infinity 556 with non removable end caps. |

It does save you about $100 if you were going to buy all those pieces separately so if you need it all might as well |

Just ordered one from the Hansohn Bros sale, too good a price. Plan on putting it on a 14.5 SD. |

Finally got my Hub mount in and went for a quick range trip with it at lunch today. Overall very impressed with this can and was shooting with just foam plugs in and was very comfortable shooting. The other nice deal was almost no noticeable gas to face and only caught a bit, and I mean a slight wiff, when i was firing as fast as i could rap them off. Very nice can and would recommend. |

I tried one of these out today. All my time with 556 cans has been with older traditional baffle cans like the YHM Turbo K and a really dated Sig SRD556. I had resigned to the idea that 556 suppressed would just be universally sharp and boomy. I had assumed the main benefit of these 3d cans would just be less gas to the face and suppression that would be almost as loud as unsuppressed pistol rounds. I was wrong. The suppression is so much better with the Infinity than the old cans plus the rifle runs less violently with less gas to the face. I’m impressed. |

Yeah, suppressors have come a long way in just a few years and blow the doors off of most of the older stuff. |

There’s no other feeling better than putting a lot of work into something and somebody enjoying it. It never gets old |

Mine cleared the form 3 and already shipped. Hansohn Bros is really on top of getting things done. Looking forward to trying it out. Need to see about out a cover for it now. |

We use a series of staggered U shapes with tails that spiral instead of how most people do it with spirals going all the way down the suppressor. Hux, SilencerCo, cat, all the new companies, too many cans to name is just straight up spirals down the side. The reason for this is no small pathways. We did a lot of testing and found this array to give the same or better performance than the typical spirals but without the tiny pathways that need frequent cleaning and lead to decreased performance as they clog. You don’t have to clean it near as frequently and performance doesn’t degrade and the pathways don’t clog 2. The end cap system. A lot of work went into making it perform well either vented low back pressure or solid high back pressure. Companies had tried this before it’s not a new concept. But either they would be loud no matter what or high back pressure no matter what. The end caps didn’t work as well as they advertised. 3. The middle chamber where gasses recombine. You’ll see the separation about midway up the suppressor. Other suppressors don’t have this like the ones mentioned in point 1. This helps “stage” the gasses and control the flow a little better and is a big reason the end cap system works like it should from point 2 https://www.instagram.com/p/DDPmPYFxNb6/?igsh=MXByMGNxanVlNnZoYQ== |

I'm doing the Form 4 on one tomorrow. I like that the material used was specifically developed for gas pathways. Since it's going on a Krink with a Jmac 360 brake, it needs all the help that Haynes 282 can provide. |
