@-Obsessed- I received my LR last week and took it to the range this weekend. Pretty cool! When I got home, I downloaded the data to my local drive on a PC, and placed your consolidation tool in the same folder. Questioning whether I failed to read, as I see on the tool it states to run from the flash in the LR. Anyway, I get an error when I try to run on the local drive. Run-time error '76': Path not found When I hit debug, this is the line that's not happy. Set folder = oFSO.GetFolder(Path & "LBR") Do I need to run from the flash in the LR? Thanks in advance. |

You need to put it in the root of the folder structure. Can be anywhere (SSD, HHD, Flash Drive, SD Card, etc). But the file structure should look like the instructions tab. |

But the file structure should look like the instructions tab. I do have the tool in the LBR folder, but the LBR folder is a subfolder in another, so I will try some experimentation. Thanks! ETA; I am a derp. I reread what you wrote. You didn't want it in the LBR folder, but in the same folder that contains the LBR folder. Moved it and it works great! Thanks again! |

Anyone have ideas for the best way to aim the LR? I seem to get a lot of noise so I'm wondering if I just suck at aiming it. I have a 3D printer and tried some of those 3d printed sights, but I'm not sure they helped. Is there a rail I can mount a red dot to or something equivalent? How are yall aiming? |

You only have to be accurate to within 15 degrees. I literally just eyeball it. What artifacts are you getting? Symptoms? What triggering are you using, what does range look like, what distances are you seeing artifacts, and what are SNR values that worry you? |

It arrived! My first shot was with a muzzleloader. OK, that was dumb. No reading. Second shot was a 1911. No reading. Third shot, I flipped the LED light from blue to orange and it gave a reading, roughly what I expected from my light 200-grain SWC .45ACPs. Perhaps I should read the manual again.  Next shot was a rifle, but I failed to flip the toggle from handgun velocity to rifle velocity. So it threw a crazy reading (like 1/3 what I expected). Lesson learned: that toggle matters. So does the blue vs. orange light. I bet the manual explains that. Next shot, same rifle - I've never shot this one over a chronograph. I guesstimated 3000' when I worked the load up a few months ago. It clocked 2965'. Yeah, that's one shot. Meaningless yet simultaneously very cool, to me. Next shot, different rifle (I was literally racking my brain trying to think of what was laying around loaded that I could just grab out of the safe and throw a round downrange). I was expecting somewhere between 2900 and 3000' on this load. It clocked 2951'. Back to work. I have to be productive and pay for this thing before I play with it too much. But, yeah, very cool. No real problems with initial setup or aiming.

So... little late to the party, but I saw this and wanted to try it. The good news... it works... sorta. I dropped the file in the root directory of the SD card, opened it up, had to close things down and enable macros for a downloaded file, fired it back up, and imported tracks from my LBR folder. The bad news... it only got three - SR001 thru SR003. Not SR004 through SR026. What am I missing here? |
