| Went through one of the local pawn shops the other day and among the airguns they had on the rack was a Ultra Hi Products Pioneer BB76. Price wound up less than 50 so figured i'd get it to play with it. Looks like a toy Kentucky Rifle. About on par with the kids BB guns of the time for power. Puts a BB through both sides of an aluminum can when hit straight on. Has cocking lever inlet in the forearm, and the "hammer" must be cocked also to fire. Stock is clean, looks like whole thing was on a gunrack for years. Cleaned it up a bit and put about 20 or so BBs through it. Read up on them from what Tom Gaylord wrote on Pyramid Air articles. Seems a bit of interesting history from our courntry's Bicentennial. |

Friend had one while i had a daisy spittin immage made like the 1894 winchester, neither of them had much power though like some of the pump up guns. Still fun to play with, and usually not powerful enough to do much real damage. Perfect for mischievous youngsters. |
